Join us for our first ever Breathing "Womb" Studio Retreat:
2:30-4pm: Gentle Mindful Flow + Deep Release (Asana sequence to practice bringing attention to the present again and again, to rinse and wring out tension in the body; than mindful playing with foam rollers, tennis balls + other tools to squeeze out congestion, heat and confusion)
4:15-5:15pm: Mindful Eating (delicious catered vegetarian dinner + desert, shared together in glorious silence + intentional gratitude. Thich Nhat Hanh's teaching's on mindful eating will be our guide)
5:30-6:15pm: Walking Meditation (outside evening walking group meditation and mindful practice to soak in the spaciousness that we are often blind to in our busy-ness.. Mantra + reminders to enjoy the present moment as we slowly walk. This is also an opportunity to offer prayers of peace, each in our own way, to our neighborhood + beyond)
6:30-8pm:Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra + Healing Sound (restorative +rejuvenating yoga poses, deep guided meditation into stillness + silence. Waking up together with healing sounds of bowls, voice, guitar + song)
Our exit will be silent~ setting the stage for you to flow home in ease. If at all possible, have home ready to receive you with gentle arms, perhaps tea, journal/art then sleep. Do what you can to take care of chores/errands ahead of time, or leave them for the morning. Of course this isn't always possible. It's not a problem.
Time away from your busy life is profoundly important, and our studio retreat is meant to support your reflection and rejuvenation so that you may return to your beautiful, challenging life with re-newed insight and a feeling of ease and intention.
Our aim is to accommodate any being that desires to attend. Beginners welcome. We will do whatever we can to adjust/support/modify this schedule so that the true essence of mindfulness + retreat is within the reach of each participant.
